community health hub

The Community Health Hub is a partnership between the local library, community, farmers, and CareSouth Carolina Inc. administered by the Foundation for Community Impact & Health Equity and is funded by the SC Center for Rural and Primary Healthcare.

The Hub assists community residents with receiving health and social services. Participants have access to over 22 offerings for everything from Medicaid application assistance to blood pressure screenings. Patrons can also be referred for services by library staff at any time regardless of program dates. Guest speakers routinely provide education on selected health topics.

The Health Hub meets in either Bishopville or Lynchburg from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesdays. The specific locations are:
